A documentary series created and written by Bernard Hage in collaboration with The Lebanese Association for History, and released in July 2024. The series explores the historical behavioral and systematic patterns behind Lebanon’s current crisis—or a crash course in how to creatively mismanage a country.

"The Great Map of The Crisis" is a satirical documentary consisting of five episodes, each corresponding to a district on the map.
• District One provides an in-depth analysis and detailed definition of the Lebanese collapse that erupted in 2019. Timeframe: 2019 - 2024 • District Two explores Lebanon's situation before the collapse, aiming to find out whether the crisis began in 2019 or had been evolving for decades. Timeframe: 1950 - 2019 • District Three introduces the major players behind Lebanon's political and economic policies, investigating the roots of the sectarian system enabling their enduring power. Timeframe: 1860 - 2024 • District Four examines the Lebanese Civil War and the subsequent amnesty law, spotlighting the emergence of political unaccountability. Timeframe: 1975 - 2024 • District Five offers a space for reflection, capturing the prevailing mindset among the Lebanese people today amidst the information shared across the preceding districts. |
